Madagascar is not just well-known for its exotic animals and beautiful flowers but also delicious dishes such as Chicken dish, Akoho sy Voanio (Chicken in Coconut Milk) that is best served ih Malagasy style, in other words served with rice.

Traditional Madagascar cuisine mainly consists of a base of rice (vary) with some form of accompaniment (laoka), although in the southwest rice may be supplemented or replaced by maize that has been dried, ground and reconstituted. Nowadays Cuisines of France, China, India, and to a lesser extent East African and Arabian cultures have influenced Madagascar cuisine.
